Climate risk and sustainability: emerging impacts and future perspectives for financial intermediaries

We are very pleased to introduce this special issue of 2023 of the Journal of Financial Management, Markets and Institutions (JFMMI) comprising a collection of distinguished papers presented by five scholars in the field of banking and finance at the third edition of the CGRM 2021 International Conference in Copernico Repubblica, Italy, in September 2021. The Conference on "Climate risk and sustainability: emerging impacts and future perspectives for financial intermediaries" created a joint space for academics and practitioners from different countries to analyze recent trends and upcoming challenges in corporate governance and risk management in financial institutions with a particular focus on their role in promoting a sustainable economic growth model.
