This paper briefly outlines the link between teaching of philosophy at high-school and university levels. It claims that a more profound didactic continuity between these two worlds would be beneficial to the cross-disciplinary role of philosophy as a powerful tool of general education in academia. Such continuity would enhance the appeal of philosophy for different professional trainings with a focus on global managing and business. It argues in favor of a cross-cultural study of philosophy, and it concludes with relevant examples taken from courses on propaganda and gender studies.

Abstract
This paper briefly outlines the link between teaching of philosophy at high-school and university levels. It claims that a more profound didactic continuity between these two worlds would be beneficial to the cross-disciplinary role of philosophy as a powerful tool of general education in academia. Such continuity would enhance the appeal of philosophy for different professional trainings with a focus on global managing and business. It argues in favor of a cross-cultural study of philosophy, and it concludes with relevant examples taken from courses on propaganda and gender studies.File in questo prodotto:
