Among the metal finds, 35, recovered from hypogea F, G, and H of the late antique cemetery of Lamapo- poli, the most attested ones are the objects related to the person (24), followed by objects related to con- struction (5) and by lighting equipment (3). The re- maining three finds are of uncertain identification. Overall, the metal artefacts can be framed between the fourth and seventh century, and are fully integrated, as emerges from the comparisons identified, in the pan- orama of late antique and early medieval goldsmith and metallurgical production, attested not only in Apulia and southern Italy, but also in the central and northern Italian regions, under Lombard influence.
