Abstract

This paper presents some consideration about the tasks and role of philosophy in a post-national world. It argues that the end of a nation-based world entails new duties, and new ways of interacting, for scholarly communities; accordingly, these are expected to modify their ways of conducting research to make increasing room to cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary approaches, in philosophy as well as in the humanities at large.
