L’applicazione della protezione temporanea dell’Unione europea a favore degli sfollati dall’Ucraina e la sua proroga

The Implementation of European Union’s Temporary Protection for Displaced Persons from Ukraine and Its Extension: In order to ensure the reception of displaced persons from Ukraine the Council of the European Union triggered Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/382, establishing the existence of a mass influx of displaced persons from Ukraine. By this Decision, Temporary Protection Directive 2001/55 has been implemented for the first time in twenty years. This paper deals with the application of this Decision and its extension with the purpose to investigate the rules laid down within the EU as well as their application in Italy.
