The purpose of this research work is to highlight the contribution that sport can provide for a sustainable educational and training development for people with special educational needs. There are, of course, some basic social and cultural criticalities to be overcome in order to establish an educational concept of “sport for all” which leads to the development of free time also for those with special educational needs. The paper aims to promote the importance of sport and physical education in the school context in order to enhance inclusion.
