The cities we live in are notoriously organic, with small margins of openness through which they can be related to the past to which they belong, as well as to the future that awaits them. Entering a city means going through a labyrinth of streets, in which it is necessary to deal with blocks made up of prejudices, both conservative and innovative. While this is true, it is also true that we all have to simplify our city routes, often by piecing together the different fragments of our experiences. The essay we present here aims to question the urban legacy we receive and have to administer, considering what we must/can say and do when we live our cities. And this in spite of the confrontation with the ideal dimension of our living the limits that contain us, and that need to be continuously resized.
