National agri-food chains are characterised by structural problems, to which have been added effects linked to recent systemic crises. Covid-19 pandemic, climate change and the recent war in Ukraine, have determined new challenges that every State is facing in relation to the achievement of European targets and, on the other hand, in accordance to internal political priorities. In this paper will be analysed the effects of systemic crises on the Italian agri-food system and the legislative response to such crises.
