In the period from July 1920 to the autumn of the following year, the Italian slavist Ettore Lo Gatto had an interesting correspondance with the eclectic publisher Angelo Fortunato Formiggini. Lo Gatto's letters to Formiggini are preserved in the Archive of the "Biblioteca Estense" in Modena and are here published for the first time. They testify, on the one hand, to Lo Gatto's multi-faceted activity in the early 1920s and, on the other, to the scholar's very cordial relationship with Formiggini, for whom the former published a monograph and several articles and reviews.

Abstract
In the period from July 1920 to the autumn of the following year, the Italian slavist Ettore Lo Gatto had an interesting correspondance with the eclectic publisher Angelo Fortunato Formiggini. Lo Gatto's letters to Formiggini are preserved in the Archive of the "Biblioteca Estense" in Modena and are here published for the first time. They testify, on the one hand, to Lo Gatto's multi-faceted activity in the early 1920s and, on the other, to the scholar's very cordial relationship with Formiggini, for whom the former published a monograph and several articles and reviews.File in questo prodotto:
