The law 5 February 1992, n. 104 "Framework law for assistance, social integration and the rights of handicapped persons" and subsequent amendments and additions, created with the intention of realizing the constitutional principles of equal opportunities and the centrality of the person, among the provisions it intends achieve to lead to the complete inclusion of the person with disabilities in society, sees sporting activity among the tools that can be used to meet, welcome and satisfy the needs of people with disabilities. The application of these provisions of the law, especially in the school environment, must be integrated with approaches and methodologies adapted to the context, to achieve the full development of the student.
