Abstract
The edition of the well-known and partially studied manuscript Canzonette diverse in Lingua Spagnuola, which includes guitar chords, conserved in Rome in the Corsini collection of the Accademia dei Lincei (Cors625), is an important text for literary, musical, cultural, and historical studies and research on the relationship between Italy and Spain in the Spanish Golden Age. The work of Patrizia Botta’s team of philologists, musicologists, palaeographers, codicologists, and social historians, sheds light on the context in which this unique cancionerillo was born and its function as an instrument of entertainment in the Roman court that gathered around the Peretti family.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
