La festa che educa alla nonviolenza

The theme of the festive in Capitini has been less explored than others, perhaps because there is a tendency to think of it as a point of arrival: nonviolence will lead to the festive, to the hoped-for tomorrow that is the fulfillment of co-presence and coincides with the festive. However, there is also the reverse movement, Capitini suggests, namely that of a dimension - the festive one precisely - that leads to nonviolence, becoming an integral and foundational part of the educational process.

Il tema della festa in Capitini è stato meno approfondito di altri, forse perché si tende a pensarla come punto di arrivo: la nonviolenza porterà alla festa, al domani sperabile che è il compimento della compresenza e coincide con la festa. Esiste però anche il movimento inverso, suggerisce Capitini, cioè quello di una dimensione – quella festiva appunto – che conduce alla nonviolenza, diventando parte integrante e fondante del processo educativo.
