Individualism and the strenuous defense of power interests have led to the rise of various forms of ideologies, depriving man of the pres ence of God, emptying man of every bond that placed him closely connected to guaranteeing and defending the life of others. Political delirium and collec tive spells, infatuation with powers and clumsy utopias have outlined the tran sition to the protection of freedoms that turned out to be only surrogates for freedom. Retracing the conceptual passage from Marxism to territorialism that profiles yet another event of tragic political conditions of the past, the author highlights in the semantics of ideological heterophobia the recurrence of new attempts at dissolution of the person who only in a rediscovery of the bond between Creator and creature would also find the impetus to an effective and valid guarantee for the neighbor’s existence.
