This article proposes a first survey of Pasolini’s reception in Romania, focusing on the post-communist period (1989-2022). The translations and critical studies dedicated to Pasolini, at least until 2021, are scarce and fragmentary, attesting to the rather tortuous path of Pasolini’s work in contemporary Romanian culture. In the last part of this article a series of projects (new translations of volumes and dossiers in journals) will be presented, they are part of the centenary celebrations, embodying a new (and fundamental) beginning for future critical explorations.

Abstract
This article proposes a first survey of Pasolini’s reception in Romania, focusing on the post-communist period (1989-2022). The translations and critical studies dedicated to Pasolini, at least until 2021, are scarce and fragmentary, attesting to the rather tortuous path of Pasolini’s work in contemporary Romanian culture. In the last part of this article a series of projects (new translations of volumes and dossiers in journals) will be presented, they are part of the centenary celebrations, embodying a new (and fundamental) beginning for future critical explorations.File in questo prodotto:
