The concept of peace is one of the most ambiguous in human history. Cyclically, in waves concomitant with the emergence of wars that are perceived to be more frightening, now because of the size of the threat now because of geographic/cultural proximity (but are there wars that are little or not at all frightening?), we return to discussing, debating, writing, even fighting (!) about peace. With a basic distortion: most people - even those who talk about it in the media - do not have a deep, extensive and complex awareness of the area of study, experiences and practices that, in very varied forms, have accompanied human history regarding the search for peace. If a generic afflatus belongs to just about everyone, a thoughtful knowledge, unfortunately, still belongs to a minority, not only and not so much of expert(s) as of persuaded and active men and women. The question to which one wants to try to offer some answers here is: why is it so difficult to gain clarity around the topic of peace? The analysis that follows is intended to dwell on a few points in an open reflection that moves along multiple lines of development.

Abstract
The analysis that follows is intended to dwell on a few points in an open reflection that moves along multiple lines of development.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
