This article aims to analyze in a simplex perspective the education of Janusz Korczak for the professional training of teachers and educators considering both the autobio-graphical and the narrative practices that emerge from his unpublished “Works” re-cently published in Italy.Korczak took narration as documentation and as a metacog-nitive process for the elaboration of both physical and intellectual experiences. So, Korczak may be considered a precursor pedagogist of the most modern “Embodied Cognition”: he considered corporeity as a sacred language of reality (hierosemia) and the child as a manifestation of this “miracle”.
