The traditional, but already discussed for some time, distinction between obligations of means and results, with reference to the responsibility of the technical professional, is now outdated. This is what emerges from recent regulatory provisions, from doctrinal and jurisprudential developments, as well as from innovative contractual operations such as engineering. The professional's liability cannot depend on an abstract model, but must be linked to the actual skills required and to the concrete contractual structure of the assignment.
