Social media represent a new way (additional) to "cure" patients. Nevertheless, it appears that not all people (patients and doctors) are ready to use Facebook in Healthcare. For this reason, we would like to analyze which the true perception of social media among Asian population (doctors and patients). Through an empirical study is conducted on a sample of Asian physicians and patients we will analyze some items, measured with Logit and Probit method to compare variables that can have a positive or a negative effect on the perception of Facebook utility.

Abstract

Social media represent a new way (additional) to "cure" patients. Nevertheless, it appears that not all people (patients and doctors) are ready to use Facebook in Healthcare. For this reason, we would like to analyze which the true perception of social media among Asian population (doctors and patients).
