Forme e “contesti”: (limiti e) potenzialità della ricerca sui vasi da collezione

The different meanings that the investigation of contexts can assume in relation to vases preserved in historical collections are explored: from the archaeological context to the territorial-cultural context, in some way also reflected in the context-collection and in the relationship between the morphology of the vase, the painted subject and the vascular shapes represented in the images painted on the vases.

Si approfondiscono le differenti accezioni che l'indagine sui contesti può assumere in relazione ai vasi conservati in collezioni storiche: dal contesto archeologico, a quello territoriale-culturale in qualche modo riflesso anche nel contesto-collezione e nella relazione tra morfologia del vaso, soggetto dipinto e forme vascolare rappresentata nelle immagini dipinte sui vasi.
