The Italian legal system provides for specific rules on registers concerning the agricultural sector, in relation to the activity carried out by the farmer, to the products of agriculture and to the goods used for the exercise of the business activity. This paper will therefore be divided into three parts: in the first, will be taken into account the register of agricultural enterprises and the legal effects related to the registration with regard to publicity; the second part will outline the national rules on the register of seeds and agricultural land, capital goods for business activities; the third part will finally analyse the registers relating to certain types of agri-food products..
