Il presente saggio è incentrato sull’analisi dell’interpretazione performativa e della rappresentazione della santità da parte del cantante Achille Lauro dagli esordi fino al 2021, considerandone gli aspetti trasgressivi e gender fluid e le relative polemiche, che hanno riproposto alcuni temi dell’antica polemica anti-teatrale cristiana contro il mimo e la pantomima.
