L'amicizia conduce alla felicità? Sfide sociologiche dell'oggi

Does friendship lead to happiness ? Sociological challenges of today · Man, as such, is a social animal and nurtures a need for sociability that drives him to unite in society. This need changes and evolves in the society of postmodernity, passing through the pursuit of happiness, which apparently seems to be a desire aimed at satisfying his own Ego ; but when man collides with reality he discovers that he cannot reach it in solitude. Man has always wanted certainty and stability, but the contemporary world – online and offline – articulated and complex, places him in front of requests that, if not met, lead him to develop a state of malaise. This article aims to highlight that the pursuit of happiness, the protagonist in human life, is not something to be achieved, but something that everyone already has within himself and for which friendship seems to acquire a fundamental value.

L’uomo, in quanto tale, è un animale sociale e nutre un bisogno di socievolezza che lo spinge a unirsi in società. Tale bisogno muta e si evolve nella società della postmodernità, passando attraverso la ricerca della felicità, che apparentemente sembra essere un desiderio finalizzato al soddisfacimento del proprio Ego ; ma nel momento in cui l’uomo si scontra con la realtà scopre di non poterla raggiungere in solitudine. Da sempre l’uomo vuole certezza e stabilità, ma il mondo contemporaneo – online e offline – articolato e complesso, lo pone di fronte a richieste che, se non soddisfatte, lo portano a sviluppare uno stato di malessere. Il presente articolo si prefigge di evidenziare che la ricerca della felicità, protagonista nella vita dell’uomo, non sia qualcosa da raggiungere, ma qualcosa che ognuno già possiede dentro di sé e per la quale l’amicizia sembra acquisire un valore fondamentale.
