Olfactory dysfunction (OD) is one of the most common symptoms of acute and long COVID-19.1,2 Qualitative OD frequently accompanies or follows quantitative olfactory loss.3 Few studies to date have combined both quali- tative and quantitative evaluation of OD.4 The aim of this study was to estimate the prevalence of qualitative OD and evaluate its functional impact in post–COVID-19 patients by combining a validated questionnaire5 and a comprehensive olfactory psychophysical evaluation.
