The recent energy crisis caused, among other things, by the war in Ukraine requires a new intervention by the Commission to support the enterprises affected by the rise in energy prices but also to promote and accelerate initiatives in favour of investments in alternative energy. The new Temporary Crisis Framework outlines the application criteria to be referred to in order to support enterprises in close connection with environmental regulation, the other fundamental issue on the European agenda for the coming years.
