The essay focuses on the long-standing issue of the legal nature of parliamentary groups. From a constitutional perspective, these are involved in the democratic system as subjects of political representation. Nevertheless they still have an uncertain legal classification. Trying to overcome the traditional theories supported by the doctrine and partially accepted by the jurisprudence, the article aims to highlight the nature of ”public law bodies” of parliamentary groups.

Abstract

The essay focuses on the long-standing issue of the legal nature of parliamentary groups.
