Abstract
The idea of considering the organization of the production system in relation to that of the social context as an institutionalized process - that is, guided by basically stable rules - has broadened the debate on the development of the South and sought answers in more extensive and interdisciplinary areas. Among the indicators identified in the scientific debate in general we find, for example, the quality of regulatory action, the effectiveness of government actions, the issue of legality and corruption, active participation in policy-making processes, the relevant role carried out by schools and educational institutions: new subjectivities that modify the vocabulary and the roles of transformation. It should be noted that the debate on development policies in the South has further expanded following the devastating impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. An impact that certainly affected the whole country but that produced greater consequences precisely in the South. Within this debate are placed the theoretical and empirical research essays that follow these pages and whose common objective, in a perspective of promotion and development of innovative social policies in the South in the era of globalization, is to present policies of intervention, as well as experiences and interventions related to the social promotion of knowledge, actions for job placement, the culture of legality and in particular those interventions capable of reducing the risk of further problems in the Southern territories.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
