In this article we propose a new reading of an epigraphic document inscribed in the front of an altar dedicated to Iuppiter Optimus Mximus and preserved at Angera. The new reading -Sesuini instead od Sesuini as name of vicani- allows some considerations both linguistics and social about vici's life (identity, worship, way of integration of the foreigners)
