The Italian post-referendum context requires a reflection on the reforms that are necessary to balance the effects of the reduction in the number of MPs. The essay focuses on the opportunity to strengthen the quorums envisaged for the revision of the Constitution and for the election of the President of the Republic, of the constitutional judges and of the members of the CSM. Finally, for strengthening the role of parliamentary minorities, should be constitutionalized the statute of the parliamentary oppostion and established the Mixed Joint Commission for parliamentary legislation.

Abstract
