This article presents part of the results coming from the historical and archaeological analysis conducted on the section of the Via Appia falling within Apulia et Calabria, between Gravina in Puglia and Taranto. In particular, the article focuses on the aspects related to the path of the consular road in these territories and on the stationes reported by the Itinerarium Antonini. For each stopping place, previous studies are presented and, in two cases, Blera and Sub Lupatia, some hypotheses are proposed about the .
