The ever-increasing development of platform work is generating new issues and new challenges for the existing European and national legal framework. Starting from a reconnaissance of the risks related to OSH, control powers, processing personal data, illness and workplace injury, faced by platform workers, this chapter analyses the suitability of current legislation to give fitting responses in terms of both prevention and remedies. The analysis aims to highlight the lacks in European and national regulatory contexts as regards the protection of these forms of work in order to assume different measures and to advise legislators’ coming interventions.
