According to Dahrendorf (1989) the current one is the last phase of globalisation: things have become more difficult, problems have become more serious. Since globalisation is, first and foremost, an economic phenomenon, and the pace of economic growth has slowed down considerably, more difficult conditions have arisen for workers (unemployment, precariousness, insecurity) and along with such difficulties, the diffusion of well-being has disappeared (Saraceno, 2015). This trend has generated an unprecedented distance, first of all economic and then social and cultural among social groups: namely, it created social inequality.

Abstract
According to Dahrendorf (1989) the current one is the last phase of globalisation: things have become more difficult, problems have become more serious. Since globalisation is, first and foremost, an economic phenomenon, and the pace of economic growth has slowed down considerably, more difficult conditions have arisen for workers (unemployment, precariousness, insecurity) and along with such difficulties, the diffusion of well-being has disappeared (Saraceno, 2015). This trend has generated an unprecedented distance, first of all economic and then social and cultural among social groups: namely, it created social inequality.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
