Taking in consideration different cases of current marginalization, the paper focuses on the pheonomenon of normalisation of social exclusion. In particular, as illustrative cases the Neets, the yellow vests in France and the technological infrastructures (such as computer technology and new media) are considered as the new faces of marginalization and even its trivialization connected to human suffering. The end point is the urgency to review the concept of exclusion and its explanatory theorising starting points to develop suitable measures to stem it.
