In this paper, I reconstruct Giorgio Pasquali’s attitude towards Italian colonialism. At first, I will examine his articles in support of the occupation of the Libyan region (1915) and his contribution to the construction of the Arch of the Philaeni (1937). Then, I will analyse at length his article in favour of Italy's war on Ethiopia, published on the «Corriere della Sera» (25 october 1935). Furthermore, I will report the existence of a second edition of this article, so far ignored by scholars, which appeared in March 1936 on «Il Mediterraneo. Rivista mensile illustrata». Finally, I will investigate the historical context in which the article was published.

Abstract
Finally, I will investigate the historical context in which the article was published.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
