Matricide is a not very frequent crime, sometimes even poorly represented in the case studies and scientific contributions of a forensic, psychological and psychiatric forensic and criminological profile. Often it is a crime that immediately recalls the suspicion of a serious mental pathology in the author, ultimately a "pathological" crime. The illustrated case, particular both for the type of relationship between the author / victim, and for the expressive forms, not only presents relevant aspects worthy of being reported, but offers an important series of insights and reflection, also aimed at fulfilling to an important task for science and criminological disciplines: the attempt to restore a sense of accomplishment to the intrinsic and extrinsic aims of the act itself.

Abstract
Matricide is a not very frequent crime, sometimes even poorly represented in the case studies and scientific contributions of a forensic, psychological and psychiatric forensic and criminological profile. Often it is a crime that immediately recalls the suspicion of a serious mental pathology in the author, ultimately a "pathological" crime. The illustrated case, particular both for the type of relationship between the author / victim, and for the expressive forms, not only presents relevant aspects worthy of being reported, but offers an important series of insights and reflection, also aimed at fulfilling to an important task for science and criminological disciplines: the attempt to restore a sense of accomplishment to the intrinsic and extrinsic aims of the act itself.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
