Intestinal malrotation is characterized by different anatomical alterations of the abdominal viscera depending on the stage during which the abnormal rotation of the primitive intestine occurs. Intestinal non-rotation, also named complete mesenterium commune, is the arrested rotation at 90° during the 5th -12th week of embryonic development. This situation is rare and can be asymptomatic for years.

Abstract
