THE PHENOMENON OF DESTRUCTIVENESS IN THE COUPLE BETWEEN PERVERSION AND PERVERSIVITY: REFLECTIONS ON A SERIES OF CASES

The Authors present some complex and dramatic expert cases and illustrate the different problems that, in the criminological and psychological- / psychiatric-forensic field, the adult heterosexual couple presents. The couple is in fact an organism with an emotional and affective functioning that makes it a much more composite and articulated reality than the simple summation of two single subjects. In it, manifestations of "perversion" and "perversity" appear more frequent than we think and call into question anthropological, psychological, socio-cultural and historical factors. In this singular context, the crime calls into question a process of giving meaning to the way of being of Self and the Other, which, even in the marked defect, tends to be more complete, since becoming victims or executioners can help to better define Self and the Other, as in the case studies presented.
