Abstract

In the framework of the project REMEDIAlife, concerning the use of several species of Annelida polychaetes as biorimediators in an experimental IMTA (integrated multi-trophic aquaculture) system, we proposed the exploitation of their biomass at the end of each production cycle in various sectors such as sport fishing, ornamental aquarium animals and feed production In the present paper preliminary data on a first market survey are reported in which the possible stakeholders were contacted regarding the exploitation of these biomasses as baits and ornamental aquarium animals.
