Starting from the advice issued by the National University Council on the classification of disciplinary knowledge and the reorganization of the degree classes, with the consequent changes to the relevant laws and rules, proposed for the systems of teaching and evaluation of research, the presidents of the Italian Association of Psychology and the Conference of Academic Psychology take stock of the current critical issues in the grouping of disciplines and the hypotheses for the revision of the psychological degree classes. Some ideas are presented for the discussion on these issues, which is expected to be opened within the Italian psychology and the Associations that represent it.
