The article, starting from a survey of existing literature on the relationship between assessment and teaching, illustrates the first results of a more articulated research project which is aimed, firstly to analyze teachers representations on evaluation and relationship with the teaching practice; and secondly, to recover the proposal of teaching evaluation.
