Abstract
The analysis of conciliar canons and papal letters (4th-7th Centuries) shows that Christians were directly involved with spectacular events, even if they should give them up in order to become part of the Christian community. Despite the repeated prohibitions, dance and music are still crucial both in public and in private (e.g. the celebration of a marriage) and they are also important in religious rites, thus entering into the Christian buildings.File in questo prodotto:
