The paper refers to European project in progress that focuses on the theme which regards the cultura! competence of immigrant adolescents. The research develops at the same time in ltaly, Albania, Croatia and Bosnia. At the beginning becomes clear the concept of cultural competence not only through the study and analysis in literature but also through direct research and questionnaire which is oriented to operators (teachers, doctors, sodai assistants, psychiatrists, psychologists, cultural mediators). The results of the research into the different sectors: culture, school, health, integration, policies, projects, definition of cultural profiles will help in practice and they provide dissemination of information to prepare cultural kits for families and adolescents and to support all the people who work on the sector.
