In 1700 he moved to Spain, in Murcia, and founded a workshop where his son Francisco and other students were distinguished. Nicola Salzillo, nato a Santa Maria Capua Vetere, si formò nella bottega di Aniello Perrone a Napoli. Nel 1700 si trasferì in Spagna, a Murcia, e fondò una bottega in cui si distinsero il figlio Francisco e altri allievi.
