The great fortune of political utopia genre and the renewed attention to its multiple expressions demand a new moment of reflection. Though in the historical evolution of the different linguistic codes and the model’s theoretical structures, utopia still holds an extraordinary potential. Behind the ideal of a political and social organization subverting the present and projecting out over the future acts, in fact, an extraordinary creative and critical push, whose value needs to be revitalized. It is about the motivation to think “otherwise”, to imagine difference as an act indispensable to produce whatever political change.
