The management’s shipowning company, understood and assumed as a complex of res et homines to negotiationem parati, required a constant commitment not only in the acquisition and use of equipment but also , and above all , in the recruitment of suitable staff , which they were assigned specific work tasks necessary for theaudit of the various phases of navigation . The paper examines the organization of the merchant ship and the crew should be employed, focusing on labor relations that could be established between its components within the ship itself.
La gestione di un’impresa armatoriale, intesa ed assunta come complesso di res et homines ad negotiationem parati, richiedeva un costante impegno non soltanto nell'acquisizione e nell'utilizzo delle attrezzature ma anche, e soprattutto, nel reclutamento del personale idoneo, cui andavano assegnate le specifiche mansioni lavorative necessarie al controllo delle diverse fasi della navigazione. Il contributo esamina l’organizzazione della nave mercantile e l’impiego dell’equipaggio, soffermandosi sui rapporti di lavoro che si potevano instaurare fra i suoi componenti all'interno della nave stessa.
