In The last decade, the Apulia public insitution aims at supportino the ‘imagebility’ of the regional cultur system, especially promoting music tradition and events like the so called “Notte della Taranta”. This study focuses on the case of “Puglia Sounds”, the specific regional program for the development of the music system. Born in 2010, it is financed by the European Regional Development Fund with 1,5 million Euros/year. The paper wants to check strength an weakness of a peculiar part of this program, named “Puglia Sounds Live”, that supports community music activities in order to estabilish the circuito f Apulia music, to widen music supplì, to create networks linking local agenzie, operators an festivals, to optimize resources, to create a new public while putting in place a year-round supplì in music.
