Organizations need to learn more and quickly to adapt to fast-moving changes and to cope with the complex demands of a very turbulent economy. Therefore, next to formal education, mostly considered as a synonym for learning, workplace learning, namely an informal, unplanned, implicit process with unpredictable results, has gradually gained popularity both in scientific literature and professional practice.
