The essay, by moving from the recent speech of the President of the Republic Mattarella to the magistrates in training and awaiting for the decision of the Constitutional Court on the Law n.18 / 2015, offers some thoughts regarding the freedom and the judicial interpretation limits in connection with the theme of accountability in the exercise of the judicial function.
