This paper focuses on Hermetism in Cusanus, whose mystical philosophy, which requires the harmonization of all the soul’s intellectual and affective faculties, accords with central themes of the Asclepius and the Liber XXIV philosophorum. The Appendix lists explicit Hermetic references in Cusanus’s work as well as the Hermetic titles found in his library (Dokumentarischer Anhang. Die Bezüge des Cusanus zur hermetischen Tradition: Tractatus, Sermones, Codices).
