Dalla sostanza alla forma Uno sguardo d’insieme alla criminalità organizzata nei Balcani

This paper aims at pointing out the development of research studies on criminal associations/ organizations in the Balkan Countries. At first the author seeks to define the Balkan area from a historical and juridical point of view. She then proceeds to analyse the Balkan region as criminolo- gical map, according to the statistical data and research, provided for MPPG Max Planck Partner Group for Balkan Criminology and UNODC, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. Finally the criminological data will explain the evolution and patterns of organized crime in Balkans to stand for model legislative provisions in comparative criminal codes.
