A few cases of sarcoidosis are associated with progressive liver disease. We report a case of sarcoidosis with prevalent hepatic location. This case emphasizes the possibility of an organ-specific extrapulmonary presentation of sarcoidosis and in this context, outlines the fact that hepatic involvement, independent of any pulmonary and/or mediastinal lymph nodes involvement, may be more frequent than has been reported up to now.

Abstract
A few cases of sarcoidosis are associated with progressive liver disease. We report a case of sarcoidosis with prevalent hepatic location. This case emphasizes the possibility of an organ-specific extrapulmonary presentation of sarcoidosis and in this context, outlines the fact that hepatic involvement, independent of any pulmonary and/or mediastinal lymph nodes involvement, may be more frequent than has been reported up to now.File in questo prodotto:
